New IAC 5000 Series Workbench is Completely Sealed for Cleanroom Application

02/28/2003

BREA, CA – Cleanrooms and laboratories have special requirements to protect the integrity of the working environment, to assure predictable results and to protect against contamination. The 5000 Series workbench from IAC Industries features design elements that make it an ideal addition to the cleanroom environment.

5000 Series worksurfaces are fully sealed (class 100) and feature 1-3/16" solid core industrial grade particle board cores, finished in a choice of standard or ESD laminates. Worksurface support is provided by a sturdy 1" x 3" all-welded tubular frame designed and constructed to eliminate dust-collecting areas. It is assembled to the worksurface at the factory to assure sealed attachment points. 2" x 2" tubular steel legs and 1" x 3" tubular steel beams provide 1,000 lb. load bearing capacity. Frame and legs are finished with cleanroom-approved powder coating for durable, chip-resistant service.

With built-in leg extenders, the worksurface height is adjustable from 30" to 36" in two-inch increments. Lengths of 48", 60", 72" and 96" are available, each in a choice of 30" or 36" depth. The 5000 Series features a "knocked down" design that qualifies for Class 70 freight, saving customers a great deal of transportation costs, yet when assembled has the same anti-contamination characteristics as an all-welded frame. IAC also offers both vertical and horizontal laminar flow stations for use with 5000 Series or other workbenches.
