Digital Professionals Get Organized with IAC's LAN Stations

02/28/2003

BREA, CA – LAN Stations from IAC offer a series of features that bring organization and convenience to those spending their workdays in the digital realm. In addition to providing an adjustable worksurface, with a comfortable 180° rolled front edge, LAN Stations offer ergonomically-designed CPU holders and keyboard trays, sophisticated power systems, cable management components and plenty of shelving for monitors, digital instruments, software storage and manuals. LAN stations are ideal for computer rooms, media production studios, laboratories, electronic testing areas and high tech office environments.

Beginning with a "basic" starter unit – a sturdy worksurface with two uprights – customers choose "add-on" sections, shelves, cabinets and other LAN Station accessories to configure an integrated workspace that will expand continually as the network grows. Vertical channels in the uprights allow infinite adjustment of worksurfaces and shelving for comfortable and ergonomic use by workers of any physical stature. These workstations save space and give technicians easy access for quick change-outs, add-ons and repair of digital equipment. Some of the specialized accessories include: a pull-out CPU shelf that glides out on roller bearings for easy access, stackable slide-out keyboards, cable ducts and a cable management enclosure. The unique hinged design of these cable ducts allows technicians to organize cables and power cords neatly, while keeping them accessible.

Customers may select from IAC's Standard Electrical System (15 amps), or the versatile Power Distribution System that provides three separate 20 amp circuits within a station for independently operated equipment—outlets are built into the vertical uprights with optional outlets running horizontally between the uprights.

Basic LAN Stations are available in three lengths: 48", 60" and 72", with optional peninsula and 90° corner worksurfaces for flexible work area configuration. Worksurface depths range from 24" to 36" and customers may choose from upright heights of 36", 48", 60", or 84".
